In 1965 the Blok family started Blok Orchard with 29 acres of apple and peach trees. The apple trees prevailed and the peach trees  were separated and moved to a new location on the orchard.

In 1974 Blok Orchard replaced  the existing apple trees with dwarf trees.

Blok Orchard was always a pick your own orchard until 1988.

In 1995 Blok Orchard added a cooler and started selling produce out of the garage.

By 2000 Blok Orchard was growing. They started to add tomatoes, flowers and other new vegetables.

In 2006 Blok Orchard built a new large building to sell produce out of. In the same year they added a huge new produce cooler to help store and keep produce fresh.

Since 2002 Blok orchard has been on the "Kent Harvest Trail".

To date Blok Orchard has:

• 45 acres of apple trees
• 3 acres of peach trees
• 1/2 acre of blue berries
• 1/2 acre of cherries.

Blok Orchard is an asset to our community. They continue to work hard to supply us with great produce, high quality, and very reasonable prices. They are very friendly and consumer oriented.

Blok Orchard continues to grow more each season. Bastian and Anna continue to work very hard to keep things running smoothly. The love for the orchard carries over to their son, Alvin, who also works very hard and will take over the orchard someday, but no time soon as Bastian and Anna continue to go strong.
